Duxford Air Museum Flight

Our Duxford Air Museum flight will take you and a companion from North Weald to Duxford Air aerodome in Cambridgeshire. You’ll land on the historic World War Two runway – The same runway that had Spitfires, Hurricanes, and Lancaster bombers landing on it during World War two and beyond. See the aerodrome and museum from a unique perspective and take control en route!

Trial flying lessons can be an unforgettable way to experience taking the controls of an aircraft yourself or for the lucky recipient of a trial voucher. All flights can be logged in your Pilots logbook from just £99.

You will be sitting in the front of the aircraft with access to the dual flight controls under the guidance of your fully certified and highly skilled flight instructor who will explain the process of becoming a Private Pilot and answer any questions you have along the way!

Whether it’s a flying experience for yourself or as a gift, buying a trial flight online is simple and all vouchers are received instantly in your inbox.

You and your companion will depart North Weald for Duxford Aerodrome in Cambridgeshire in a 4 seater aircraft with the flyer in the front and the companion in the rear seat.

On the way to Duxford you will – under the guidance of your flight instructor – take the controls and navigate yourselves to the historic airfield of Duxford where after a low flypast along the historic World War Two runway you will land on the same tarmac that Spitfires, Hurricanes, and Lancaster bombers departed and arrived on during wartime.

Taxi off of the runway, then it’s time to switch positions with your companion for the return leg and fly back to North Weald!
